The Interfaith Seminary offers the
following degrees in Spiritual Counseling
Degree Description:
This degree will
enable graduates to gain the necessary knowledge to establish a
career as a spiritual counselor and enabling the spiritual
counselor to utilize a broad range of techniques. skills and
knowledge, including NLP, Traditional counseling
Master of Arts
Degree Requirements for the M.A. is as
follows:
Prerequisites: Bachelor's Degree from an
approved educational institution or proof of related life/work
experience.
1. All assigned coursework as agreed upon by the
student and their Academic Advisor.
2. M.A. candidate must write and then defend a Master's
Thesis on a subject pertaining to Spiritual Counseling.
3. Tuition paid in full and all coursework must
be completed and graded before diploma is awarded.
Total Courses: 6 + Thesis
Total Required Hours: 27

Basic Counseling I (3 credit hours)
NLP Practitioner (3 credit hours)
Stress Relief
(4 credit hours)
Basic Pastoral Counseling (4 credit
hours)
Counseling in the Community (4 credit hours)
Independent Studies (4 credit hours)
Text of student's choosing as related to
Spiritual Counseling and approved by the Academic Advisor
Thesis (6 credit hours)

Doctor of Philosophy
Degree Requirements for the Ph.D. is as
follows:
Prerequisites: Master's Degree from an approved
educational institution or proof of related life/work
experience.

dissertation on a subject pertaining to Spiritual Counseling..
3. Tuition paid in full and all coursework must
